I’m Trevor and I’m the photographer at Provocateur Images. I’ve been shooting for 10+ years and I ca’t imagine doing anything else. I’ve been a photo nerd for as long as I can remember and could you ask for a better job? Where else do you get to change how people see themselves? Nowhere! I’m also really lucky to work with some really awesome people too that help make Provocateur Images the most amazing boudoir experience!

Jen is the owner and lead artist at Modern Makeup. She has been doing makeup professionally since 2014 and has worked with Provocateur Images since 2015! If she’s not working at Provocateur Images Studio; you can probably find her managing the makeup department for some of Toronto’s biggest events including Miss World Canada, Miss Galaxy Canada, Miss North America, Toronto Kids Fashion Week and so many more!

Naudia handles a HUGE chunk of the behind the scenes work at Provocateur Images. She’s likely the first person you’ll talk to when you inquire about a session plus she’s got a great mind for marketing and promotions so she works very closely with me to develop those strategies. Naudia also handles all my editing, so if you want any pesky cellulite removed, she’ll be the one who makes it all go away…

You’ll see a lot of posts that go up on my various social media platforms so you can see what I’m doing and see all the amazing women that come through my studio. But I need help to schedule all those posts and writing content. That’s where Audrey comes in as she takes care of all of that for me. It’s a huge help and I couldn’t share as much as I do with all of you without Audrey.

My name is Trevor and this is the story of transition from a portrait photographer to boudoir photographer. As I mentioned, I started off as a portrait photographer which was fun. I had one client ask me if I would shoot a boudoir series for her.  She explained that she wanted to do this because she had just come out of a long term relationship and she wanted to feel sexy again. I thought sure, why the heck not? Let’s give this a try….

I don’t think I was prepared for what happened at the reveal when that client was overcome with emotion looking at the finished images. She said she had never felt so sexy and so good about herself. It was an eye-opening experience for me because as a portrait photographer, I have had people enjoy the images I took of them, but not like this… With a boudoir session, I help change how people perceive themselves. I became in essence a therapist with a camera. Clients open and up and get real with me in their sessions. They tell me things they love and hate about their bodies and past emotional trauma. What I get to do is help them connect with themselves again or sometimes even, for the first time. That’s fucking powerful ya’ll and I am so grateful to do what I do because helping someone see themselves as sexy and desirable is a total rush for me as I see the look on my clients face when it comes time to review the images. That look by the way is a mix between absolute amazement mixed with complete confusion wrapped up in a huge smile.

That’s why I love doing what I do. And of course, if you want to know more about me all you have to do is ask.
